David Hidary
Research Assistant at Columbia EE/CS
Experienced deep learning researcher, programmer, and entrepreneur, with an Applied Math degree from Columbia University. Previously conducted research at CERN and SandboxAQ, and co-founded Autumn AI (YC W26). My current research focuses on the empirical science of deep learning. I am particularly interested in emergent behaviors of complex dynamical systems, physics and neuroscience inspired ML techniques, JEPAs and world modeling, and broadly topics in probabilistic ML and representation learning.
